Dear Diary,
I have spent the last year away from my best friend, Saphryn. I understand that it was safer for me and Abby to return to England. But there is no way I can go another day without hearing from her any longer and just stay away. I know that the world is different for Saphryn, and I want to know... to understand. And I won't let her keep going on alone.
I truly feel so badly, thinking all those long years that she had some mental problem. Trying to keep her on medication and seeing all those doctors. It wasn't until those last couple of days that I finally saw a small piece of what she always saw. I never thought ghosts were real until I saw one myself. I really must go back, I must go back and find out more. I know Saphryn thinks it's dangerous for me to know or see more. But if it is dangerous for me to know any of it, then I can only imagine how dangerous a life Saphryn lives every single day.
Today I will be boarding an airplane bound for the United States. Soon I will be in Las Vegas, Nevada and reunited with my best friend. Abby will remain here, in London, with her father and, of course, a nanny. I am sorry that I must leave them both, but Saphryn is my best friend, my sister, my dark mirror. I simply will not stay away from her as she lives a life of danger. If I cannot get her to return with me to London, then I will stay with her. I just won't stay waiting, blind, on the sidelines.
As soon as I see Saphryn again, I'll be able to write to you again Dear Diary. I'm sure she'll put up quite the fight, but I'm not going to back down. Until then Dear Diary.
