She picked up her pen and the notebook that she'd been keeping most of her thoughts in. It was a simple notebook so as not to bring too much attention to itself, although there was some minor downsides to that as well. Someone could just mistake it as a normal notebook and begin reading, but the only person she had that to worry about with was Zach. Not that she cared if he knew her thoughts or not. She paused for a moment or two, beginning to write soon after as she gathered her thoughts
Simple notes really, nothing major has occured in a few days. Not since the zombie attack on my apartment, not that I think they are done with me. Maybe they are just gathering forces, since so far I have been able to take out the members they have sent. I really do hate zombies, they make such a big mess. I am surprised my landlord has not kicked me out of my apartment yet, it has happened before with other places that I've lived. After awhile the gun fights and repairing of bulletholes makes them very much nervous so they tend to kindly ask me to leave. Not that I blaim them, I so would not want to be my land lord either. Especially not now with Zach and I both in one place, thats like double the treat for things that go undead and grrr....
As for Zach he seems to be healing pretty well, although he does play that leg up a bit. I know he does it for the extra attention, and I can't help but give it to him. So I'll indulge his silly little side, and keep him happy. I took him to the botanical gardens, or I should say he took me, I drove. He needs to get out more, so I am going to try and help him deal with that a little bit and hopefully I will fix this fear of his. Anyway, the gardens are exceptionally beautiful and I am glad he suggested to go. It was one of the few days that something did not crawl out of the ground on our time out. So hopefully the heralds are trying to keep us from burning out...I am sure it is not a favor on the side of the undead. They'd definately kill us rather than give us time off. So for the first time in a long time, I have managed to actually have a vacation during the time that I take off...even if I did not go anywhere.
But even so, I have been doing a little work, learning about that girl we met in the cafe the first time the zombie sisters attacked. Her name was Moxley, I did not get a lastname so its taken me a bit to find the right one, you'd think there wouldn't be that many people with the name moxley, but you'd be surprised. Nothing entirely substantial yet, but I am not giving up...I will find everything possible on that girl. I know what she was, so I figure she's on our side, but that does not mean I am going to trust her without knowing about her. Too many of our kind have gone psychotic...Steven for example...and tried to kill other members. So for now I will keep an eye out for her and also see what I can find out.
I am also going to keep an eye on Zach, in some ways he trusts too easily, which is okay...I don't trust much of anyone, so I guess between the both of us we'll manage to figure things out. Anyway, that is all my notes for today.
She closed the notebook and put the pen down.
