The difficulty of any attempt to coerce or Dominate a vampire into ceasing her behavior is raised by one. If a vampire is forcibly prevented from adhering to her derangement, she automatically frenzies.

You have the capacity to eat food. It's an ability you developed at an early point in your undead existence, or perhaps it has been a latent ability all along. This is considered disgusting by other Kindred, but can be of great assistance in maintaining the Masquerade.

You own a large manor - a home with 25 or more rooms - as well as the surrounding estate. The servants, if you have any, are provided for if you choose this Merit, although they cannot be used as Herd or Retainers unless you purchase the appropriate Background. The mansion is assumed to be fences or walled in, and makes an excellent haven. While the mansion can be in as poor or good repair as you wish, the more inhabited it appears to be, the more attention (from taxmen and the like) will it garner. Similarly, superstitious mortals will go out of their way to avoid a "haunted" manor.
Medium (2pt Merit)
SUPERNATURAL
You possess the natural affinity to sense and hear spirits. Though you cannot see them, you feel their presence and are able to speak with them when they are in the vicinity. It is even possible for you to summon them (through pleading and cajoling) to your presence. Spirits will not simply aid you or give you advice gratis - they will always want something in return.
Conspicuous Consumption (4pt Flaw)
PHYSICAL
It is not enough for you to draw nourishment from the blood of mortals - you believe you must also consume your victim's heart, liver and the blood-rich tissue. Of course, this will necessitate the deaths of all your victims (unless you are extremely creative), which might lead to numerous problems with the Masquerade and maintaining Humanity.

Everything appears rotted and decayed to you. The world appears to you as a corpse; mortals look diseased, buildings seems decrepit, and your fellow Kindred seem to be walking, moldering cadavers. You are at -2 difficulty to resist all rolls based on Appearance, but by the same token you are at +2 difficulty on all Perception-based rolls. In addition, you find social interaction difficult and are at +1 difficulty on all Social based rolls.
Furio Evengelos Giovanni was born to his mortal family in 1593, when the Ottoman empire
had started its vicious expansion across europe. Raised on the familys estate in Avaleno,
he was beholden to all the advantages of being borne from a wealthy merchant family.
Suffice to say, most of his schooling came from the street at this time, learning only the
basics of history and arithmatic that were required of a merchants son. When he finally came
of age to learn of the familys dealings, he was thrown right into the mix, the Giovanni's making
a killing on the international trade after the Ottoman seige on Veinna. Commanding a fleet of
merchant caravans, Furio quickly learned the ways of the world. His cosmopolitan nature and
easygoing personality endearing him to his elders and others from around the world quickly.
Soon he was in charge of the familys "special deliverys", shipping things that came in under
the noses of the French and Spanish guard. It was then that he suspected that the world he saw
was only the tip of the grand iceburg that was reflected in a pond. On the fateful day in Augest
when he was invited to the familys compound in venice. It was there that he met Agustus for the first
time (Back when he was still awake and taking visitors) and he was given the proxy kiss. From here on
out it was his glorious rise through the ranks of the Giovanni. Branching our countracts outwards and
eventually moving to the americas when they were discovered. Settling in Chicago, he was barely prepared
for what came next. One day a package arrive for him from across the Sudario. Brought to him by his familys
elders. It was that package that informed him of a fledgling orginization that he was to infiltrate. He was
to be involved at every level and report what happend back to the Mosoleum himself. This was his chance...
This was the time to prove himself. All he had to do was to infiltrate a petty orginization.... La Cosa Nostra.
Fast forward ten or twenty years. Furio was sitting just under a man whom today in history is still regarded
as one of the most infamous men alive. Singore Alphonse Capone, the Capo di Primo of the Chicago Mafia.
Assisting Mr. Capone as a right hand advisor, Furio lent him his by now superior knoweldge of finance and
law to bring the Chicago familys to the top. Not that this helped the Giovannis' in any way but information,
but he found it hard to do any less being bred into excellence as he was. So he continued, Eventually testifying in court against Mr. Capone, when the orders came to do so from Roma. It was only then, when he had brought the largest crime boss in america to the height of his fame, only to betray him for the family, that he was invited back into the fold. To meet his progenetor for a second time... this time to recive his embrace.
Now Furio works primarily to see to the familys interests in the United states. While many other family members work throughout the U.S. Those back in Venice realize how much he has sacrificed willingly for the good of the family. With the Prudent Elders eyes upon him he works to now establish his own household. Joining the ranks of the elders and finding out just how difficult their world can be. Yet with breeding comes money, and with money comes the need to spend. Where better to test his fortunes? To hold his own fate within his hands? To finally start a life..? Where better for one last roll of the dice...
