Sun-Claws first memories were when his eyes opened and he poked his head
out of his mothers den for the first time and saw the huge world that would be his to explore. The scents of the virgin woodlands and the dry winds from the desert barrens below the small woodlands that were formed by the glacial river melt waters from the mountain caps that were so far off they were but a hazy smudge on the horizon.
His first year was spent with his mother and his sister with whom he shared many adventures as they both learned to hunt from their mother and explored the world about them. The range that they called home was harsh and barren, few humans sought to reside there.
After his first year like many young cubs he mother considered him nearly an adult and so he spent more and more time in his own pursuits, Mostly hunting and exploring and discovering what the strange creatures of his world did and tasted like. He spent many hours that second year watching and listening to a group of monkeys that made there home at the edge of his hunting ground. He did not know much about them but soon realized that the monkey sounds were making more and more sense to him. He wondered why the ones of darker skin spoke differently among themselves than they did to the paler ones. But still he learned both there languages. His careful observation of the monkeys would serve him well in the future even though he did not know this yet.
One night he was watching a young female of the dark skinned monkeys when he felt a strange stirring in his body. His muscles grew stronger then weakened too pathetic levels and the shape of his body changed he fur vanished and he found that he was now in the body of one of the dark skinned monkeys. He knew that they called themselves Sioux. They had names like Jane Throwing rock and the like he had learned this when he managed to decipher the strange marks they made on what was a tribal newspaper. He also learned of the rest of the world through the newspapers and trash of the pale monkeys.
He was about to go and try to communicate with the dark monkeys when a female Puma came to him and sifted into a fully clothed Pale monkey and so did his first year as a pumonica begin. His guide has taken him to Los Vegas a place of many secrets and much knowledge and intrigue but like any such place it is also a place of great dangers.
