I'd suggest being at least a wilder, I think you'll find the site rules are very limiting for children aged 11, as fun as it may seem at first. I also need some serious background before I can ok a holding and chimera guardian of that level.

Deep in the farthest reaches of the Deep Dreaming an awesome presence stirred. She could feel the calling once more the ancient geasa that had been placed on her by the powerful Sidhe Lords. Yet she could feel that some how since the time of the shattering of the realms and the retreat of the Wyld from the reality known as Earth that one of the blood to which she had been bound by her own willful oath taken before the assemblage of the bloodline of the great Sidhe warrior that had managed defeat her in personal combat then spared her life for her oath to always watch over and serve loyally those of his blood that walked the world. She had thought since the time of the shattering and the departure of that Sidhes bloodline from the earth she had finally ended her service. Yet there it was the compulsion of the great and powerful binding magic pulling her into the near dreaming.

What was it that could have happened to pull here there? The tremendous bulk of one of the oldest and most dreaded of all creatures stirred for the first time in centuries. Her nearly impenetrable scales glisten and moved. She was no longer able to sleep and dream, as she desired of skies full of dragons burning the air with their glorious breath. And clutching eggs that hatched into wyrmlings that would grow to strong adult dragons and repopulate the world with her kind. The realm that was that world shuddered and began to tatter around her as her gigantic wings spread. Crystallized Glamour cracked and shattered as she moved her body that had not stirred since she had retreated from the banality into the darkest reaches of men’s imaginings and began dreaming her own dreams.

Her wings and terrible will that no mere mortal could hope to overcome carried her through the dreaming. She snatched and ate those poor dreams that came to close. She was legend the dread dragon still sung of in the courts of the fae and still her presence at the back of men’s minds inspired the creations of her brood the lesser dragons. She could not claim to be the first dragon but she was now most certainly one of the oldest. She was the dragon that stalked just outside the ring of firelight midnight scales glistening as the humans huddled together in there furs afraid of the terrible creatures that stalked just outside the light of the fire in there cave.

The history of men and faeries was of little importance to her though for she was born of the primordial instinctual fear that all men harbored in there hearts she was the presence that made ones footsteps fall just a little quicker in the night when one walked alone. She was the breath that you thought you felt on the back of your neck. The hunting beast that chased you in your nightmares when you could not turn and truly see anything against the inky blackness of the night. Still she was not all-powerful and one Sidhe Noble had once defeated her and thus caged the fear in men’s hearts then he had harnessed her in repayment for sparing her life. She had sworn an oath and a Geasa and the Dreaming itself had enforced it.

Finally she had made the long journey down the Trode and to the near dreaming she followed the pull and then followed the pull to a newborn human child. But it was not a human that she saw no it was a Sidhe infant. She knew that her time here would now be long. She also knew that he was the heir to a vast kingdom and where many of the child’s relics would be found. Yes when the ancients had departed the world of the mortals they had left behind much for not everything could be taken and Maembryssa knew where her last charge had hidden his treasures in the thought that he would one day come back to claim them. The thought that this child might be her former charge flew through her consciousness like a bird and was soon snatched up by her draconic instincts.

Ennis Larken as his human parents called the infant an artist and a writer who produced an abundance of glamour that Maembryssa happily consumed as she watched her charge and played with the boy as only a dragon truly could. His parents thought that it was delightful that there child had an “imaginary” friend. Ennis as his sleeping soul was called finally woke when he was six years of age and it was then that he truly understood what Maembryssa who was now the closest friend that he had ever had and one of the most wonderful for there was more than one occasion that she had intervened and actually saved young Ennis. Such as the time he had nearly drown or when she snatched him back from in front of a semi that had run a light. Still Ennis while he had been asleep like his parents was a wondrous font of Glamour.

Now that Ennis was awake he found out that his true name was Beagan, Maembryssa had suspected it would have been due to the small fact that he looked just like her one time foe. Beagan was the same Sidhe warrior that had defeated her with his powerful arts and dashingly quick reflexes. As was usual for one like him the pair set out on a quest one day to discover his heritage. Maembryssa knew that the young Sidhe though cute beyond measure, as he had always been would simply be used and wasted in the Courts of the area he was born in. Though Maembryssa did not posses arts or realms of her own she did know enough to take the newly awakened Beagan to an Eshu and like all Eshu when a dragon seeks you for a task one arrived when Beagan was finally ready to learn and they were already far away from there normal home Kent England.

The Eshu taught him over the course of a year to open Raths then Trodes. Beagan like Maembryssa knew he would be learned quickly and well how to wield the powers and now that Beagan could open the ways they set off to gather The Items that his last descendant had hidden away in the scattered reaches of both the world and the dreaming.

The battles and trials that Began faced in his childling days were many and could easily fill several shelves on any bookcase. Once he had gathered all that Maembryssa could recall he had an arsenal that could make any Sidhe noble envious still he did not yet posses a holding and so the pair now at the great serpent mound which in the dreaming was truly a gigantic sleeping serpent came to a decision. In the dreaming there was a place called the desert of fire that no creature could easily pass through. Even Maembryssa with her dragon hide could only survive in the flames of the desert fro a short time. Still in the fires there was rumored to be a land that was dripping with succulent glamour. This rumor had lead many a changling to their destruction in the hungry fires of the desert. Still most did not have a dragon with a nearly impenetrable hide to peek through the veil and into the dreaming from the mortal world. Began had learned enough about the Dreaming to know that any stable land would have to have some source of banality in the earth realm and the best place they thought they could find both was of course Los Vegas, the earthly city of dreams.

The pair set off for Los Vegas and when they arrived they then looked to see what they could find and sure enough there mixed in against the desert were Islands of habitable paradise overflowing with the glamour generated from the dreams of wealth power and luxury as well as beauty and imagination of the mortals that flocked to the Mecca of greed lust and debauchery known as the casinos. Each casino seemed to posses enough banality that it stabilized and formed an Island from the Burning fires of the desert and each one teemed with Glamour for the taking.

The pair then made the journey to Caer Blacksalt and their Beagan requested a brand of Balefire from Chief Greyhawk Gwydion. In return He Swore to be one of Greyhawks Nobles So long as Greyhawk ruled fairly and justly over the changelings in the Kingdom of the Burning Sun. Beagan then announced that he was going into the Burring Desert and establishing the Barony of the Shimmering Isles in the name of Chief Greyhawk and the Kingdom of the Burning Sun for the Glory of House Eiluned.

The pair then traveled back to Los Vegas through the human world with a small group of Changelings that wanted to settle in a new court and thus hoped to gain high positions in Beagans court. When Beagan arrived with his new court and Maembryssa who had been through hundreds of adventures with him and aided him infighting off everything from goblins to Artic Ogre lords and may other creatures that may or may not have names that Sleeping humans would recognize he opened the Rath into The largest of the Shimmering Isles and then he Permanently stabilized the Isle with a massive expenditure of Glamour that few had ever witnessed since before the time of the Shattering. The Process of Claiming the Kingdom and his palace had left him with much less permanent Glamour than he had possessed but now he was the rightful ruler of the Shimmering Isles. Also known in the waking world as the City of Los Vegas. Though he only ruled over the dreaming portion of the city and even then it was broken up by patched of the burning desert that was soon spanned by bridges that thanks to the knockers that had constructed them made one able to cross the short distance even through the flames of the burning desert without getting hurt or bursting into flames though it was hardly comfortable to linger on one unless you happened to be Maembryssa or a similarly armored creature.

Beagans first act, as the new Barron was to grant Maembryssa the title of Guardian dragon of the Barony with all the rights and privileges and duties of that station so long as Beagan ruled the Shimmering Isles. He then began parceling off parts of the islands to those changelings that were now his subjects in his new Holding.
